1. How do I make ringtones of protected purchases?

   There are multiple ways to do so. The easiest is to upgrade the song to iTunes Plus, at a cost of 30¢ per song or usually $3 per album. You can also burn the file to CD, and re-rip it to iTunes for free, with a bit of loss of audio quality.

2. How come my album art doesn't show up?

   iTunes must be open for Ringtones to show album art for your songs.

3. How come I can't make ringtones shorter than 0.5 seconds or longer than 40 seconds?

   The iPhone doesn't support such ringtones.

4. Ringtones I created aren't showing up on my iPhone. How come?

   Ringtones transfers any ringtones you create to iTunes, but you must sync first before they become available for use on your iPhone.
